The Wellbeing Project aims to support the recovery of people who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues. Wellbeing works to harness the creative energies and natural talent of clients using personal skills as a starting point on the journey of individual recovery, personal development and skill acquisition.
Wellbeing were funded to run the “Time Out” programme. The programme worked across five weeks focusing on men to help support positive mental health and wellbeing. During the five weeks individuals participated in a range of activities aimed to improve their mental health including relaxation techniques, metaphor and the mind, as well as discovering their own emotional needs.
Additional outcomes of the project included the development of personal life skills, improved confidence and social interaction.
